Ultrasonic cleaning effect and related parameters:

a. Cleaning medium:

 

Using ultrasonic cleaning, there are generally two kinds of cleaning agents: chemical cleaning agent and water-based cleaning agent. The cleaning medium is chemical action, while ultrasonic cleaning is physical action. The combination of the two functions can fully and thoroughly clean the object.

 

b. Power density:

 

The higher the ultrasonic power density is, the stronger the cavitation effect is, the faster the speed is, and the better the cleaning effect is. For the object with high precision and high surface finish, long time high power density cleaning will cause cavitation corrosion on the surface of the object.

 

c. Ultrasonic frequency:

 

The lower the ultrasonic frequency is, the easier and stronger the cavitation is. When the frequency is high, the ultrasonic direction is strong, which is suitable for fine object cleaning.

 

d. Generally speaking, the spatiotemporal effect of ultrasound is the best in 30o C ~ 40o C. The higher the temperature is, the more significant the effect is.

 

Generally, the working temperature of 30o C ~ 60o C is used in the practical application of ultrasonic cleaning.
